Jenkins Design Services Ltd was appointed to take on the diverse roles of Lead Architectural Consultants and Designers in 2008 on not only the Coronation Street Film LOT replication, also a new State-of-the-art Production Facility, Studio Support Accommodation and four new film Studios, along with neighbouring public realm spaces.
The impressive triple height glazed production centre has become a focal point within the concentric parameters of MediaCity UK, designed to house a variety of high tech and creative production departments. This is evident in the fluidity of the architectural design, blend in material selection, whilst encompassing ITV's creative media heritage and embracing a strong use of brand.
