PROJECT: Bell Tower Replacement, Old School Rooms, Bolton

 

A listed building converted into major housing association accommodation having identified defects within the main structural timbers supporting an ornate, lead covered Victorian Bell Tower.

 

Appointed to renew the structure including Listed Building Planning Consent for the removal and replacement of the tower and decorative, conductive spire; involving extensive detailing and consultation with conservation officer, structural engineers, contractors and glass reinforced plastic (GRP) fabricators whilst project managing and coordinating all parties including the clients tenants with minimal disruption.
